Begin with the format
An anime name can refer to a television series, a feature film or a related compilation. Read the title and year together. A movie is not automatically the first chapter simply because it is shorter than the series.
Demon Slayer as an example
The Demon Slayer series, Mugen Train film and Infinity Castle film have separate records. Choose the installment you intend to watch, and check episode coverage in the viewing service before switching between a film and a television arc.
A standalone animated film
A title such as Your Name. offers a feature-length starting point. Open its premise and viewing options without having to create a season plan. Check the Japanese or dubbed audio and subtitle combination you prefer.
When translated names differ
Compare the original title if an English name or punctuation mark differs between results. Keep the series season and episode with your saved choice. My List identifies the production, while episode progress belongs to the viewing application.
